Zero Suit Samus Cosplay

This was such a large project for me. Since my early days of cosplay I have always wanted to make Zero Suit Samus. I’ve never been confident enough in my skills to approach such a daunting full body suit though. Finally, when I found the material I knew it was time to step up to the challenge and finally make the suit.

This was the most difficult costume I have made mostly due to the stretch and patterning of the zero suit. I’m still coming up with ways I could have done things differently but for now I’m happy with the result. I’m looking forward to spending more time on detail work since I really learned to take my time with small details with Samus and not cut corners.

The Zero Mission Ending suit was made from scrap material I had leftover from the zero suit, I thought it might be fun to shoot in both outfits from Smash 4 and have a more simple, comfortable version of Samus for convention wear.

This costume has since been replaced by a custom sub-dye suit by VisionArts
